ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri finds that certain property in
the custody of the Finance Department described below, is surplus property, and as such
represents a burdensome cost for storage and maintenance, and that the property is no
longer needed for any public purpose.

Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to offer the unit as trade-
in for the purchase of new equipment, or to dispose of the equipment by sealed bid or
auction, or to transfer the property to another City Department upon terms acceptable by
the City Administrator.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
