ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR V ARIOUSPROFESSIONAL "
SERVICES FOR THE 2009 CALENDAR YEAR
WHEREAS, in December 2008, the Borough issued a Request for Proposals
("RFPll) soliciting responses for the provision of various professional services
for the 2009 Calendar Year; and
WHEREAS, the RFP's were solicited pursuant to a fair and open process in
accordance with the provisions ofN.J.S.A. 19:44A.20.5; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Clerk's Office has on file the submitted responses
to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has submitted the responses submitted and is
desirous of accepting and/or approving the responses to 1he RFP from the
attached list of professional service entities for the respective professional
services. '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of
the Borough ofCarteret as follows:
I. That these professional services entities on the attached list are hereby
approved to provide the respective professional services.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services
.contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40a:II.5(1)(a).
3. That this award is pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance
With the provisions ofN,J.S.A. 19:44A.20.5.
