RESOLUTION NO. 81-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DESIGNATING THE~POSITION OF WATER SUPERVISOR AS EXCLUDED
FROM THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE AND AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 80-66,
THE SALARY RESOLUTION, ACCORDINGLY
WHEREAS, Section 24-32 of the Code of the City of Lynwood provides
that there shall be excluded from the provisions of the personnel system
established by said City Code such offices, positions and employment as
may from time to time be specified by Resolution of. the. City Council; and _„_

WHEREAS, the City Council has designated the position of Utility
' Service Supervisor as exempt from. the provisions of said personnel system; ,
and .
WHEREAS, the City Council has amended the 1980-81 Salary Resolution
to add Utility Service ,Supervisor to the Civil Service Exempt portion of the
salary schedule and delete this title from the Management portion; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the reorganization of some
City functions and as a consequence changed the position title from Utility
Service Supervisor to Water Supervisor.
NOW., THEREFORE, the City Council. of. the.,~.City of Lynwood does he.:eby
resolve that, in accordance with said Section 24-32, the position of Water
Supervisor is excluded from the classified personnel system and that Resolution
No. 80-66, the Salary Resolution, be amended to substitute the title of Water
Supervisor for the title of Utility Service Supervisor on the Civil Service
Exempt portion of the salary schedule.
