RESOLUTION N0. 81-18
A RESOLUTION Of THE~CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING' SUBMISSION OF A PRE-
LIMINARY APPLICATION UNDER THE HUD 701 FY 81-82
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954 ~.as
amended,;authorizes planhin.g assistance to local agencies; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Housing and Community "
. _.,
Development has been given the responsibility of "admn-is"tering the `~° --
HUD 701 Program in California; and
WHEREAS, the-State Department of Housing and Community
Development is soliciting preliminary applications from eligible
Jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, City of Lynwood is eligible to receive funds
under the HUD 701 Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council
of the City of Lynwood ;hereby authorizes submission of a preliminary
application to the State Department of Housing and Community
-~- -. Development _.un:der_ the H;UD 701 Program.
APPROVED AND 'ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 1981.
