A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING EXTENDED DAY AND WEEKEND
WORK BY CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS..
WHEREAS, the City Council endorses the provision of code
enforcement services to the community for extended hours daily, including
the weekend; and
WHEREAS, grant funded Code Enforcement Officers have been assigned
to work schedules which permit the extended provision of services; and
WHEREAS, assigning the classified Code Enforcement Officer to the
extended day work schedule would standardize the work hours for Code Enforcement
Officers and save the City the cost of filling a Code Enforcement vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve that classified, as well as grant-funded, Code Enforcement Officers
may be assigned to work schedules which permit extended day and weekend code
,enforcement services to the community.
