RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD REGARDING FAREBOX RECOVERY
REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSPORTATION DEVELOP-_
MENT ACT ARTICLE 4.5 FUNDS.
•WHEREAS: The City Council of the City of
Lynwood is desirous of providing a Dial A Ride transit
service for its elderly and handicapped residents.
WHEREAS: funds to assist in providing this pro-
gram are available through-Transportation Development
Act Article 4.5 funds.
WHEREAS: the City Council is aware of the 10%
Farebox Recovery requirement of Article 4.5 Grants.
WHEREAS: the City Council of the City of Lyn-
wood ha,s supported the Dial A Ride system in past years.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by City Council
of the City of Lynwood, that it agrees to make up any
_ _ shortfall in the required Farebox Recovery ratio._ br
_' \,`any' cost overrun with local funds .
