RESOLUTION FOR OILING
STREETS.

Be It Resolved by the Council of
the Town of Wellsburg, Iowa
That Washington street from First
street to south edge of Tjaden Second
Add.; Adams street from First street
to Fourth street; Jefferson street from
Second street to Fourth street; Madi-
son street from First street to fourth
street; Monroe street from R. I. right
of way to Fourth strreet; Second
street from Washington street to
Monroe street; Third street from
Washington street to Monroe street;
Fourth street east from intersection I
with Washington street to east line
of Tjaden First Add.; and Fourth
street west from intersection with
Washington street to Monroe street,
and extending on projection of Fourth
street to point west 700 feet, be and
the same is hereby ordered oiled and
the entire cost thereof, except the'
cost of oiling the intersections, shall
be assessed to the property abutting,
upon such streets in proportion to thel
benefits conferred thereby.

COST FOR OILING
STREETS.
Notice is hereby given, to all per
sons liable to such assessment, this
there is now on file in the office o:
the clerk a prposed assessment of
the cost of oiling the following
streets:
Washington street from First
street to south edge of Tjaden Second
Add.; Adams street from First street
to Fourth street; Jefferson street from
Second street to Fourth street; Madi-
son street from First street to Fourth
street; Monroe street from R. I. right
of way to Fourth strreet; Second
street from Washington street to
Monroe street; Third street from
Washington street to Monroe street;
Fourth street east from intersection
with Washington street to east line
of Tjaden First Add.; and Fourth
street west from intersection with
Washington street to Monroe street,
and extending on projection of Fourth
street to point west 700 feet,
The total cost of such oiling amounts
to $1200.
The council will meet at p. m. on
Monday, the 29 day of April,
, 1918, to
hear objection, if any, to such pro-
posed assessment,
