RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-1-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD '
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF S IX THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS _($6500) FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING C80SSING GUARD
SERVICE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 1980-81 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is authorized by the State of California
to provide Crossing Guard service; and
WHEREAS; the Lynwood Service Corporation currently provides the Crossing
.Guard service under C.E.T.A, Title II D; and
WHEREAS, C.E.T.A. Title Ih D is scheduled to be eliminated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognized the need to continue the Crossing
Guard. service to insure the safety of our school children.
NOW, THEREFORE,,be_it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
that the-City Council hereby authorize the City Manager to make the following
appropriations:
