RESOLUTION N0. 81-40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
. AMENDING RESOLUTION N0, 80-66, THE SALARY RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a 1980-81 Salary Resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is authorized by the State of California
to ensure that Crossing Guard services are provided; and
WHEREAS, the C,E,T.A, program which has provided crossing guard ser-
vices through Lynwood Services Corporation is due to be terminated; and
WHEREAS, a salary survey has been conducted to determine an appropriate
hourly wage for Crossing Guards; and
WHEREAS, the current salary schedule mislabels the Crossing Guard Super-
visor as simply Crossing Guard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has. studied the proposed amendment to the
Salary Resolution and. approved same.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood .does hereby
resolve. that:
The 1980-81 Salary Resolution be amended as .follows:
Change the title from Crossing Guard to Crossing Guard Supervisor
at the hourly range of $5.30 - $5.80 and add the title of Crossing
Guard at the hourly range of $3.35 to $4.35 on the hourly portion
of the Salary Schedule.
PASSED, APPROVED,. AND ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 1981.
