A.RESOLUTIOiQ OF 'THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTEN'T'ION .TO CONDUCT APUBLIC
HEARING TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING
MAINTAINED ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood has re-
commended that this City. Council find that a certain premise within
the City of Lynwood may be~maintained in such a way as to constitute
a nuisance; and,
~~-~ -~' -~-~---- WHEREAS; certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21
of the City Code of the City of Lynwood, pursuant to which nuisances
may be abated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City Manager, this
Council hereby finds and determines that the following described
property may be presently being maintained in such a manner as to
constitute a nuisance. Said property is described as Lot 5,
Tract 5b86, and generally known as 11822 Atlantic.Avenue, City of
Lynwood.
2. The condition of said property which may constitute a~nuisance
are described as follows:
. a) Vacant lot overgrown with grass and weeds.
b} Large pile of concrete and. dirt in center of lot.
c) Storage of pews and other material on .rear of lot.

3. .The method or methods by which said conditions could be abated
include•
a) Remove all concrete and dirt from center of lot.
b) Remove inoperative or dismantled vehicle from lot.
c) Remove pews and other material which is.stored on lot.
d) riow all grass and. high weeds and maintain regular lawn service.
4. This Council therefore declares its intention to conduct a public
hearing pursuant to Chapter 21 of the City Code or the Cityyof
Lynwood to ascertain whether the above described conditions consti-
tute a public nuisance, the abatement of which is appropriate under
the police power of the City of Lynwood.
5. The City Council hereby fixes the hour of 7:30 PM, May 5, 1981
as the time and~the City Council Chambers, 11330 Bu11is Road, as
' the place for said public hearing; and the City Clerk is author-
ized and directed to serve and post certified copies of this
Resolution, . in the ..manner -set~~-forth- in Section - 22-A: 4 of "the
Lynwood City Code.
