HomeMy Public PortalAbout15890 St. George Creek Sanitary Relief (Daisy Ln to Gravois Rd to New Hampshire Ave) (12212ORDINANCE NO. 15890 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for St. George Creek Sanitary Relief (Daisy Ln to Gravois Rd to New Hampshire Ave) (12212) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22153 with Keeley Construction Group, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for sanitary sewer construction is Three Million Seven Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Three Dollars (3,799,223.00); and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Four Hundred Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Seven Dollars ($400,777.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named funds sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in St. George Creek Sanitary Relief (Daisy Ln to Gravois Rd to New Hampshire Ave) (12212) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22153 with Keeley Construction Group, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 22nd day of March 2022. Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on May 12, 2022
