A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL .OF THE•.CITY.OF LYNWOOD
AMENDIN G RULE. III, SECTION 1 OF THE PERSONNEL:RULES AND
• REGULATIONS '
WHEREAS, the existing. language. of Personnel-Rule III, Section:,l
establishes 'the present Personnel Board meeting day for the second Thursday
•
,.. _ _of each month; and
WI~REAB,.the Personnel Board 'actually meets on the-third Thursday
. of each-month and has done so for some time.; and. ~ •
WHEREAS, at the May 21,_1981 meeting of the Personnel-Board it was
recommended that the Rules and Regulations be amended to formally specify
the third fihursday as Che meeting, date for the Board; `and ~ -
WHEREAS,-this proposed amendment wi l.not substantially alter any
other language or meaning of.the Personnel Rules; .
.NOW,. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood-does hereby
. resolve that• '.
Personnel Rule III, Section 1 be amended to read :."The Personnel
:..__~:y~ -.--: ~-:-...-. -~.._ _-Board, shall:hold--regular,;meetngs on the-third,Thursday-.of.each --
month, any regular meeting may be adjourned to.a certa"in time and ,
to a place designated by the Chairman.. In addition, the Board may`
hold special meetings upon the. call of the Chairman or any three
members of ..the Board. Three members of the Board sha1.T constitute
- a .quorum for the transaction of business."
