' A'RESOLUTION OF THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THE -CITY .OF LYNWOOD •
• AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA PERSONNEL
BOARD : ,
WHEREAS,-the City of Lynwood has contracted with the State Person-
~nel Board, Cooperatide"`Personnel Services Division, since 1967;. and
WHEREAS, the present contract with the State Personnel Board will
expire June 30,.1981; and ~ - _.
- - 'WHEREAS, under the provisions of the contracts, the Cooperative .Per=.
sonnel.Services Division furnishes written examinations.for specified clas-
sifications upon the..request of the~City of Lynwood Personnel Office; .and
. WHEREAS,, no direct..cost.is incurred by~the:contract. as the. City is
billed for materials ordered and received.:; and ~ ,
WHEREAS', in order to minimize-paperwork it has been .the City's prac-
Lice to renew this contract for 3 year terms;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lymaood does hereby
resolve that: _ •

the-purpose of assisting. the City, in the performance of technical .

nel Services Division for the purpose-of performing services for the
• city of,Lynwood.
