A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT FOR
PUBLIC PURPOSES THAT PORTION OF THE FIRST ALLEY
EAST OF ALAMEDA STREET, BETWEEN 108TH STREET AND
109TH STREET, CITY OF LYNWOOD, AS SHOWN ON TRACT
NO. 5418, MAP BOOK 59, PAGE 42, RECORDS OF LOS
ANGELES COUNTY.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did
on the 19th day of May, 1981, adopt Resolution No. 81-61,
declaring its intention to vacate the First Alley East of
Alameda Street between"108th Street and 109th Street in he -.
City~of Lynwood, as hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published
and posted in the time, form, and manner required by law,
and,_
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the matter was".'.held
on the 16th day of June, 1981, as prescribed by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Lynwood as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described alley
easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use, and that the public interest, necessity, and convenience
require, and the City Council of said City hereby declares
its~~order to vacate and abandon said alley easement;
That portion of the First Alley East of Alameda
Street lying between .the Southerly line 108th Street
(formerly_2nd Street), and the Northerly line of
109th Street (formerly 3rd Street) , as sliowii on
Tract 5418, Map book 59, Page 42, Records of
Los Angeles County.
SECTION 2. That the City of Lynwood reserves an
easement in, over, or upon said above described property for
the construction, erection, and/or maintenance therein of
public utilities.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in
the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
