RESOLUTION NO. O 9- /�p
RESOLUTION GRANTING AN AMENDMENT TO
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR
SUBURBAN HENNEPIN REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District (Applicant) has applied
for an amendment to its conditional use permit to add 800 square feet of space
to its club house for the purpose of constructing shower rooms; and
WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires an amendment to the Appli-
cant's conditional use permit under such circumstances; and
WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the planning commission on
February 14, 1989, and by the City Council on March 7, 1989; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the addition of 800 square feet to
the club house will not impede the orderly development of adjacent properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that an amendment to the conditional use permit be granted to the
Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and condi-
tions:
1. City staff shall review the septic system design;
2. City staff shall review the parking area;
3. Use of the club house by private groups shall be restricted to
golfing, skiing and natural enviroment activities;
4. It is acknowledged that this constitutes merely an amendment to and
does not supersede or replace the Applicant's existing conditional
use permit which was granted on September 20 , 1988, pursuant to
resolution no. 88- 79 and that all terms and conditions of said
conditional use permit remain in full force and effect except to the
extent they may be modified by this amendment; and
5. The Applicant shall pay to the City a fee in the amount determined
by the staff to represent the actual cost to the City of reviewing
this conditional use permit application.
