RESOLUTION NO. 11-8205
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO
PROHIBIT ALL CITY EMPLOYEES OF OPA-
LOCKA FROM SOLICITING FUNDS FOR ANY AND
ALL CITY EVENTS; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to avoid any
appearance of conflict of interest by any employees of the City of Opa-locka by
prohibiting all employees of the City of Opa-locka from soliciting funds for any and all
City events.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka prohibits all
employees of the City of Opa-locka from soliciting funds for any and all City events. This
resolution shall not apply to members of the City commission or to the City Manager or
his/her designee.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
