A RESOLUTION OF THE INCORPORATED CITY OF LYNWOOD.
FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES AND LEVYING TAXES FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OULY.1, 1981 AtJD ENDING
DUNE 30, 1982
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of taxation, all of
that territory and land lying and being in the corporate limits
of .the City of Lynwood, California, prior to February 1, 1970,
shall constitute the taxing area subJ.ect to .the _p_r.ovisi._ons..of ._ _ . _ ..__

SECTION 2. The amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate l.imi'ts
of said City to provide for the payment to the State Employees'
Retirement System, authority for the execution of said contract .
as granted by Ordinance No. 426, adopted by a vote of the qualified
electors of the City of Lynwood the 16th day of April, 1946, for
the Fiscal Year beginning Ouly 1, 1981 and ending Oune 30, 1982,
is hereby fixed at the sum of Five Hundred, Twenty Thousand Dollars
($520,000).
SECTION 3. That for the purpose of raising the sum of
money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property
within the City limits of said City of Lynwood as the revenues to
provide payment of State Employees' Retirement Fund as authorized
in Ordinance No. 426, the rates of taxes are hereby fixed and
taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property within the City
limits of said City, for the Fiscal Year beginning duly 1, .1981 and
ending Oune 30, 1982, upon each $100 of the assessed value of said
property as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the
Board of Supervisors .af_.the~County of Los-Angeles.,:State of Calf-
ornia, for said fiscal year as follows: ~

For City's contribution to State Retirement
Fund authorized by Council Resolution
No. 74-80 (.O1 tax increase for 10 years) .O1
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
immediately to the. County Auditor-Controller of Los Angeles County
a certified copy of this resolution.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk of said City shall
certify to the adoption of this Resolution 'and cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in said City of Lynwood.
