HomeMy Public PortalAbout15936 Fenton Creek Pump Station (P-425) Improvements (12166)ORDINANCE NO. 15936 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Five Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($1,575,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Fenton Creek Pump Station (P-425) Improvements (12166) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22165 with Kelpe Contracting, Inc. for pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is One Million Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($1,430,695.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Forty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Five Dollars ($144,305.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Five Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($1,575,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement for pump station improvements in Fenton Creek Pump Station (P-425) Improvements (12166) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22165 with Kelpe Contracting Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Fenton Creek Pump Station (P-425) Improvements (12166) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 20th day of April, 2022. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on July 14, 2022
