AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A
DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED AT 1704 CHRISTY COURT, IN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, COLE COUNTY, MISSOURI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus
property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:
Christy Court Development, LLC, owner of the real estate hereinafter described, requests
Abandonment of an Existing Storm Drainage Easement, as shown by Central Missouri
Medical Place Subdivision, a plat of record in Plat Book 11, page 738, Cole County
Recorder's Office, Missouri, being part of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section
13, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri; said
easement more particularly described as follows:
From the northwesterly corner of Lot 1 of Central Missouri Medical Place Subdivision,as per
plat of record in Plat Book 11, page 738, Cole County Recorder's Office, Missouri; thence
northerly, along the easterly right-of-way line of Christy Drive N29 042'27"E, 50.06 feet to the
most westerly corner of Lot 2 of said Central Missouri Medical Place Subdivision; thence
leaving the aforesaid Christy Drive right-of-way line and along the northerly line of said Lot 2,
S75°52'35"E, 420.88 feet; thence leaving the aforesaid property line, S15 052'35"W, 20.00
feet to a point which is the intersection of the southerly line of a 15 foot wide Sanitary Sewer
Easement and the southerly line of a 20 foot wide Sanitary Sewer and General Utility
Easement; said point also being the northwest corner of said Drainage Easement;all per plat
of record in Plat Book 11, page 738, Cole County Recorder's Office, Missouri;said point also
being the POINT OF BEGINNING for this description;thence along the southerly line of said
15 foot wide Sanitary Sewer Easement, S67 045'12"W 60.35 feet; thence leaving the
aforesaid Sanitary Sewer Easement, on a curve to the right, with a length of 59.87 feet, a
radius of 475.00 feet, the chord being S54 022'53"E, 59.83 feet; thence S50 046'14"E, 41.92
feet; thence on a curve to the right, with a length of 10.07 feet, a radius of 50.00 feet, the
chord being S45 000'08"E, 10.05 feet; thence N39 013'46"E, 89.07 feet to a point on the
aforesaid southerly line of said 20 foot wide Sanitary Sewer and General Utility Easement;
thence westerly along said line, N75 052'35"W, 91.45 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 0.15 Acres.
Section 2. The easement described in Section is hereby relinquished, and the City
does hereby release and abandon whatever interest previously held in such easements.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any
necessary legal documents relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tracts of land
described in Section 1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
