AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for design in
Hallstead Storm Channel Phase IV (MCBJ-230) (10067) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 7 to Contract No. 21771 with
Reitz & Jens, Inc. for said design.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11865, adopted October 4, 2004, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21771; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for design in Hallstead Storm
Channel Phase IV (MCBJ-230) (10067) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 7
to Contract No. 21771 with Reitz & Jens, Inc. for design in Hallstead Storm Channel Phase IV
(MCBJ-230) (10067) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel
of the District.
