RESOLUTION NO. 0-7--3 6
WHEREAS, the City of Medina adopted a Comprehensive Plan in 1980, and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Council has made changes to the metropolitan
system policy plans, and
WHEREAS, the 1976 Metropolitan Land Planning Act requires that any
such amendment requires that a local government review its comprehensive plan,
and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has been authorized to administer
the 1982 Planning Assistance Loan Program, and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina wishes to borrow funds from the Loan Program
for its review project, now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Medina City Council hereby authorizes
submitting an application for $24,000 to the Metropolitan Council for said
project.
