RESOLUTION NO. P-17/
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION
FOR LAWRENCE ALAN AND YVONNE ALAN
WHEREAS, Lawrence Alan and Yvonne Alan (Applicants) have requested
approval of a plan to subdivide a parcel of 20 acres into two lots according to the
survey attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the
preliminary plat submitted by the Applicants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota that preliminary approval is granted to the Applicants for their
subdivision, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicants shall dedicate drainage and utility easements as required by
the city engineer;
2. The Applicants shall pay to the city a park dedication fee for the lot which
is less than ten (10) acres in size;
3. The Applicants shall pay to the city for administrative expenses the amount
determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of
reviewing the subdivision;
4. The Applicants shall submit a current abstract of title or registered
property abstract covering all land within the subdivision for review by the
city attorney; and
5. The Applicants shall submit the final plat to the city for approval within
180 days of the date of the adoption of this resolution, which final plat shall
in all material respects conform to the preliminary plat, except that it shall
incorporate all changes and modifications required by this resolution.
