A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION
AND POSITION PLAN TO REVISE THE ADMINISTRATIVE
SECRETARY CLASSIFICATION, AND TO AMEND THE FY
81-82 BUDGET TO REASSIGN THIS POSITION FROM
THE CITY MANAGER'S DEPARTMENT TO THE CITY CLERK'S
DEPARTMENT..-
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 81-4g, the Employee Classification
____ Position Plan, was adopted on April,7,-1881; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No: 81-94, the City of Lynwood Budget
for FY 81-82, was adopted on July 7, 1881; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for greater
flexibility in the assignment of the Administrative Secretary
position and wishes to revise the classification accordingly; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the needs of City
departments and the budgeted assignment of clerical positions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the reassign-
ment of the Administrative Secretary position would result in the
most economic, efficient and effective organization of,the work
force and wishes to amend the Budget accordingly;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
HEREBY RESOLVES THAT:
Section 1. The Employee Classification and Position Plan
is amended to delete the .statement for Administrative
Secretary and add the attached classification statement
for Administrative Secretary.
Section 2. The Fiscal Year 1881-82 Budget is amended
to transfer the authorized Administrative Secretary
position and funds from the City Manager.'s Office to the
City Clerk's Department, and to transfer the authorized
Secretary position .related funds in the City Clerk's
Department to the City Manager's Office.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this lst day'of September,
1881.
