HomeMy Public PortalAbout15988 Lemay WWTF Repairs and Improvements (2023) (Grit Tanks and Secondary Clarifier Duct Bank) (Design) (13153)ORDINANCE NO. 15988 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for engineering during construction phase services in Lemay WWTF Repairs and Improvements (2023) (Grit Tanks and Secondary Clarifier Duct Bank) (Design) (13153) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. 21999 with Donohue and Associates, Inc. for engineering during construction phase services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15594, adopted January 14, 2021, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21999; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for engineering during construction phase services in Lemay WWTF Repairs and Improvements (2023) (Grit Tanks and Secondary Clarifier Duct Bank) (Design) (13153) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. 21999 with Donohue and Associates, Inc. for engineering during construction phase services in Lemay WWTF Repairs and Improvements (2023) (Grit Tanks and Secondary Clarifier Duct Bank) (Design) (13153) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 13, 2022
