AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump
station improvements in Lemay 1 Pump Station (P-301) Cooling Tower Replacement (13596) in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22185 with Corrigan
Company for pump station improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is One Million Three
Hundred Three Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars ($1,303,320.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Ninety-Six Thousand Six Hundred Eighty
Dollars ($96,680.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars
(1,400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station
improvements in Lemay 1 Pump Station (P-301) Cooling Tower Replacement (13596) in the City
of St. Louis, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22185
with Corrigan Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in
Lemay 1 Pump Station (P-301) Cooling Tower Replacement (13596) in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 9th day of August 2022.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 13, 2022
