RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY
APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION
FOR ALEX MILLER
WHEREAS, Alex Miller (Applicant) has requested approval of a plan to
subdivide a parcel of 24.5 acres into two lots according to the survey attached
hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the
preliminary plat submitted by the Applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota that preliminary approval is granted to the Applicant for his
subdivision, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicant shall obtain approval from Hennepin County for a driveway
onto County Road 24;
2. The Applicant shall dedicate drainage and utility easements as required by
the city engineer;
3. The Applicant shall dedicate to the public right-of-way ten (10) feet in
width along County Road 24;
4. The Applicant shall pay to the city for administrative expenses the amount
determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of
reviewing the subdivision;
5. The Applicant shall submit a current abstract of title or registered property
abstract covering all land within the subdivision for review by the city
attorney; and
6. The Applicant shall submit the final plat to the city for approval within 180
days of the date of the adoption of this resolution, which final plat shall in
all material respects conform to the preliminary plat, except that it shall
incorporate all changes and modifications required by this resolution.
