HomeMy Public PortalAbout15999 North Fee Creek Public I and I Reduction (12433)OR DINANC E NO. 15999 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in North Fee Fee Creek Public I/I Reduction (12433) in the Cities of Maryland Heights, Bridgeton, and the Village of Champ, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22194 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for sanitary sewer rehabilitation. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Nine Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Eight Dollars and 10/100 ($2,992,458.10) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Seven Thousand Five Hundred Forty-One Dollars and 90/100 ($207,541.90); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in North Fee Fee Creek Public I/I Reduction (12433) in the Cities of Maryland Heights, Bridgeton, and the Village of Champ, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22194 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer rehabilitation in North Fee Fee Creek Public I/I Reduction (12433) in the Cities of Maryland Heights, Bridgeton, and the Village of Champ, Missouri pursuant to bids received on the 7th of September 2022. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2022
