AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($2,200,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm
sewer construction in Larimore Storm Sewer (11530) in Unincorporated St. Louis, County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22206 with Wehmeyer Farms,
Inc. for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Million Seven
Hundred Eight Thousand One Hundred Seventy Dollars ($1,708,170.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Four Hundred Ninety-One Thousand
Eight Hundred Thirty Dollars ($491,830.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer
construction in Larimore Storm Sewer (11530) in Unincorporated St. Louis, County, Missouri;
said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22206
with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in
Unincorporated St. Louis, Missouri pursuant to bids received on the 20th of September 2022.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2022.
