AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand
Six Hundred Forty Dollars ($254,640.00) from the General Fund to be used for water quality
sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (2023) (12806) Districtwide; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract No. 22214 with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for water quality
sampling.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Six Hundred Forty
Thousand Dollars ($254,640.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for water
quality sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality Sampling (2023) (12806) Districtwide.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22214
with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. for water quality sampling in Stream Flow Water Quality
Sampling (2023) (12806) Districtwide; said contract may be renewed for an additional two (2)
years and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by
the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
