HomeMy Public PortalAbout15998 Lindsay - St. Albert Private I and I Reduction (12330)OR DINANC E NO.15998 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($650,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Lindsay – St. Albert Private I/I Reduction (12330) in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22204 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is Four Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars ($498,947.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty-One Thousand Fifty-Three Dollars ($151,053.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($650,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Lindsay – St. Albert Private I/I Reduction (12330) in the City of Florissant, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22204 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in Lindsay – St. Albert Private I/I Reduction (12330) in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st of September 2022. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2022
