ORDINANCE NO. I 7 6"
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RESCINDING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 14743.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to ordinance number 14743 the City Council authorized the
Mayor and City Clerk to execute a settlement agreement with the
County of Cole and the Cole County Collector for an amount not less
than $751,056.46 to be paid over a period of not more than 15 years,
without interest; and
WHEREAS, After submitting the settlement offer to the City, and the City Council
approving the settlement, the County of Cole withdrew the offer of
settlement and settlement can not be reached according to the terms
of ordinance number 14743;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance number 14743 is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage) and approval.
