A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LY~JWOOD DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO
ASCERTATN WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MAIiaTAINED
ON CERTATiJ REAL PROPERTY, GENERALLY KNOWN AS
12525 ATLANTIC AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood has
recommended ;:hat thi s City Counci 1 find that certai n premises wi-t h- - -- -
in the•Ci~ty of Lynwood is being maintained in such a way so as to
constitute a nuisance; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21
of the City Code of the City of Lynwood, pursuant to which nuisances
may be abated:
WHEREAS, the conditions on said p-roperty which may-con-
stitute a nuisance are:
1. Dilapidated pole sign
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT~RESOLVED that,. the City Council of
the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as fo7lo~,vs:
1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City
Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines
that the following described property is presently
being maintained in such a ma~ner.as to constitute
- ------- - a nuisance. -Said property i-s described as Lot 16 of
Tract 7099, generally kno~.vn as 12525 Atlantic Avenue,
City of Lynwood.
2. The method(s) by which. said conditions could be abated
include:
a. Removal of the dilapidated pole sign
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT this Council therefore de-
clares its intention to conduct a public hearing, pursuant to
Chapter 21 of the City Code of Lynwood to ascertain whether the
above described conditions constitute a public nuisance, the abate-
ment of which is .appropriate under the police power of the City of
Lynwood; and,
The City Council hereby fixes the hour of 7:30 PM,
January 5, 1982,• as the time and the City Council Chambers,
T1330 BuTlis Road, as the place for said public hearing; and the
City Cleric is authorized and directed to serve and post certified
copies of this resolution in the manner set forth in Section 22-A.~
of the Lynwood City Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City of Lynwood held on the ist day of becember 1981.
