RESOLUTION N0. 81-161
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ELIMINATING THE POSITION OF PARK
SECURITY GUARD.
WHEREAS, The City of. Lynwood is desirous. of reducing
general fund expenditures, and
• WHEREAS, the present security guard operation has not
been cost effective, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires .to~ establish .a
security system within the Recreation and Parks Department
utilizing hourly employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City. Council of the City of Lynwood,
hereby resolve as follows:-
. SECTION. I. The existing park security guard position
shall be deleted effective January 3., 1982.
SECTION 2. A portion of the funds ($7,500) allocated
for the security guard position shall be re-allocated. within the
Recreation and Parks Department budget for the remaining half of
the.1981-82 fiscal year in order to establish funding for an
hourly security system.
