RESOLUTION NO. 81-165
A RESOLUTION OF THE .CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING AND ADOPTING SUPPLEMENT NOS.
04, REV, 1. AND 05, REV, 1, LOCAL AGENCY/STATE
AGREEMENT NO. 07-5250, FOR LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL
AID SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND APPROPRIATING
THE REQUIRED FUNDS TO THE 1981-82 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the.City.Council of the City of Lynwood
continually intends to improve public safety; and
WHEREAS, ..the Director of Public Works/City Engineer
has applied for Federal. Highway Safety Act Funds for the improve-
ment of mastarm, left turn and pedestrian signals, and traffic
signals in connection in the City of Lynwood.
WHEREAS, the $96,860 matching funds for this program
are. available in the current CIP gas tax account;. and
. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied .this .appropriation
and its budget .implications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED-by the City Council
of the City of Lynwood, that:
SECTION. 1. The City Council approves the application
for Federal Highway Safety Act Funds for Traffic Signals Improve-
ment Projects .at various locations in the City of Lynwood.
SECTION 2. The City Council adopts a Local Agency/State
Agreement No. 07-5250 Supplement Nos. G4, Rev. l and 05, Rev. 1
for.. the .Traffic Signal Improvement Projects in accordance with
Paragraph 2 of Article II of said agreement.
SECTION 3. The City Council .hereby authorizes the
City Manager to make the following appropriations.

SECTION 4. The City Council hereby ..authorizes the
