A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE FY 81-g2 BUDGET, SALARY RESOLUTION AND
EMPLOYEE POSITION AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted the FY 81-82
Budget, the Salary Resolution for FY 81-82 and an Employee Position and Classi-
fication Plan; and
WHEREAS, the position of Assistant to the City Manager is to be vacated on
or before February 1, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood wishes to reorganize City
Manager Department functions and create a Personnel Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it would be most economic,
efficient and effective to reassign responsibility for the Assistant to the City
Manager duties to an Analyst and the Personnel Manager position;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1: That the FY 81-82 Budget is amended to authorize one (1)
Analyst position to the Personnel Department with the
Personnel Manager as Department Head.
SECTION 2: That the Salary Resolution is amended to delete Personnel
Manager from the 3 EM range and add to the 5 EM range of
the management exempt portion of the Salary Schedule.
SECTION 3: That the attached revised position description for Personnel
Manager replace the outdated description in. the Employee Clas-
sification and Position Plan.
SECTION 4: That the FY 81-82 Budget be amended to delete the position of
Assistant to the City Manager effective February 1, 1982.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this lath day of December 1981.
