AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Hundred Sixty-One
Thousand Dollars ($361,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of
sanitary sewers in Geyer Sanitary Relief (W. Monroe Ave to W. Essex Ave) (12174) in the City
of Kirkwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22225 with Hanson
Professional Services, Inc. for design of sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty-One Thousand Dollars
($361,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design
of sanitaiy sewers in Geyer Sanitary Relief (W. Monroe Ave to W. Essex Ave) (12174) in the City
of Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22225
with Hanson Professional Services, Inc. for design of sanitaiy sewers in Geyer Sanitaiy Relief (W.
Monroe Ave to W. Essex Ave) (12174) in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri; and said contract shall
be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 8, 2022 by the following vote:
Ayes - M. Evans, A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin and B. Watson
Nays - None
