AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand
Dollars ($454,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design of improvements
in Grand Glaize WWTF Repairs and Improvements (2023) (13221) in the City of Valley Park,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22227 with GHD Inc. for design
of improvements.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand Dollars
($454,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for design
of improvements in Grand Glaize WWTF Repairs and Improvements (2023) (13221) in the City
of Valley Park, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22227
with GHD Inc. for design of improvements in Grand Glaize WWTF Repairs and Improvements
(2023) (13221) in the City of Valley Park, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such
other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 8, 2022 by the following vote:
Ayes - M. Evans, A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin and B. Watson
