A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LY~dSYOOD AUTHORIZING SUBM I S S I OPd OF AN APPLICATION
TO THE STATE SOLID WASTE MAPIAGEMENT BOARD
tiYHEREAS, the California State Legislature has enacted
the State Litter Control, Recycling and Resource Recovery Grant
Program, and
WHEREAS, the State Solid Waste Management Board has
the responsibility for administering said program, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has previously submitted
an application for funds available through this program to support
the Project Tire feasibility study, and
WHEREAS, funds will be necessary to implement the
results of the feasibility study, and
WHEREAS, the State Solid Waste Management Board has
announced the 1980 round of funding for the State Litter Control,
Recycling, and Resource Recovery Grant Program..
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lynwood
submit an application to the State Solid Waste Management Board
to support implementation of the Project Tire feasibility study
under the State Litter Control, Recycling, and Resource Recovery
Grant Program.
