A RESOLUTION, identifying and designating a Civil Service Commissioner to
serve on the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, per Section
8.020 of the Charter Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of the Charter Plan established the Civil Service
Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District;
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of said Charter provides that said Civil Service
Commission shall consist of three members, who shall be appointed by the Board;
WHEREAS, Section 8.020 of said Charter provides that members shall be persons
who are known to be in sympathy with the application of merit principles to public employment;
WHEREAS, Section 8.030 provides the duties of the Civil Service Commission;
and
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2022, Rev. Michael F. Jones, Sr. was reappointed by the
Board of Trustees to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for a second three (3) year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, THAT the Board hereby reappoints
Rev. Michael F. Jones, Sr. to serve as a Civil Service Commissioner for a second three (3) year
term from July 11, 2022 to July 11, 2025.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 12, 2023
