AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund and Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for general engineering
services in General Services Agreement - Sewer and Channel Design (2021) Contract A (12400)
at various locations within the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2
to Contract No. 21972 with HR Green, Inc. for general engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15535, adopted November 12, 2020, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21972; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund and Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for general
engineering services in General Services Agreement - Sewer and Channel Design (2021) Contract
A (12400) at various locations within the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2
to Contract No. 21972 with HR Green, Inc. for general engineering services in General Services
Agreement - Sewer and Channel Design (2021) Contract A (12400) at various locations within
the District; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 12, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - M. Evans, A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, B. Wahby and B. Watson.
