AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for rainfall data gathering and
analysis in Radar Rainfall Data (2020) (12006) District-wide; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 21868 with Vieux and Associates, Inc. for the aforesaid
rainfall data gathering and analysis.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 15344, adopted January 9, 2020, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 21868;
WHEREAS, the District desires to exercise its option to renew said contract for the
third year of four one-year options; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund to be used for rainfall data gathering and analysis in
Radar Rainfall Data (2020) (12006) District-wide.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3
to Contract No. 21868 with Vieux and Associates, Inc. for rainfall data gathering and analysis in
Radar Rainfall Data (2020) (12006) District-wide and enter the third year of four one-year options;
said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 12, 2023 by the following vote:
Ayes - M. Evans, A. Fehr, R. Wilson, G. Nicozisin, B. Wahby and B. Watson.
