Home My Public Portal About80-020 (02-19-80)RESOLUTION N0.80:.20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 1980, HERETOFORE CALLED BY RESOLUTION N0. 80-6 OF THE CITY COUNCIL. WHEREAS, a general municipal election to be held on Tuesday, April 8, 1980, has been heretofore called by Resolution No. 80-6, adopted on January 15, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular general municipal election, there shall be and-are hereby established twenty (20) voting precincts consisting (of consolidationsZ of the regular election precincts in the City of Lynwood established for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; and-that"the per- sons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and resi- dents of said City are hereby appointed precinct board members for their respective voting precinct's and they shall hold said election and make A return thereof in the manner .provided by law.
