RESOLUTION NO. 11-8246
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO
AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO RESTORE
THE SALARY OF LINDA BRACY TO HER ORIGINAL
BASE SALARY, RETROACTIVE TO THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THE REDUCTION, APRIL 30, 2010;
PROVIDING FOR RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the salary of City Employee Linda Bracy was reduced effective April 30,
2010; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to restore Linda
Bracy to her prior base salary, retroactive to the effective date of the reduction April 30, 2010, in
accordance with the Order entered by the Personnel Board and the Final Order of the Court. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to restore Linda Bracy to her prior base salary, retroactive to the
date of the reduction, April 30, 2010.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8`h day of June, 2011.
