Home My Public Portal About80-036 (04-15-80)e ~ , RESOLUTION N0. 80-36 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD .AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 2$43 REGARDING THE PERSONNEL SYSTEM RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD : WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood is authorized and directed ' under the provisions of Ordinance No. 671 to adopt rules and regulations for the administration of the personnel system created in such ordinance, as recommended by the Personnel Board; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has approved .the modification of such rules and ' regulations established hereby; and WHEREAS, by Ordinance 1085 and 1094 the City Council of the City of Lynwood has amended Section 24-32 of the City Code to exempt from the personnel system the' management positions of Assistant City Manager, City~Engineer and Planning Director and all grant .funded positions, ,project positions and. positions-authorized for speci- fic periods of time; and . WHEREAS, members of the.,classified service may accept posit-ions covered under the exemptions and such .position changes entail certain consequences which are not now specified in the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of Lynwood, as,esta- blished in Resolution No. 2843. • NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.hereby does resolve that Rule XIII hereby is amended by the addition of the.fol.lowing section 6.
