AWARDING CONTRACT
2009 PARKS MAINTENANCE
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret requires maintenance to five (5) Borough parks;
and
WHEREAS, the Borongh Purchasing Agent has solicited and received 3 bid proposals
for 2009 Parks Maintenance:
1. Pat Scanlon Landscaping, Inc.
2. D'Onofrio. & Sons, Inc.

3. G&J Landscaping, LLC
$27,600.00
WHEREAS, D'Onofrio & Sons, Maplewood, NJ, has submitted the lowest. bid for said
improvements as evidenced by the response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent;
and
'VHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed the above bid proposals and has
recommended the award of a contract to D'Onofrio & Sons, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with D'Onofrio & Sons, Inc. for 2009 Parks
Maintenance in the amount of $13,265.00, in accordance in all
respects with the request for proposals and bid on same.
Adopted this 24'" day of November, 2008
and certified as a true copy of the
original on November 25, 2008.
