Resolution No. 11-8251
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO NAME AN
INTERIM CITY MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the City of Opa-locka is in need of an Interim City Manager due
to the resignation of City Manager Clarance Patterson; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is in the process of selecting a permanent
City Manager.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA, that:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by
reference.
Section 2. Bryan Finnie is hereby appointed as Interim City Manager,
effective immediately, until September 30, 2011, or until the appointment of his
successor as City Manager, whichever comes first.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
