APPROVING INVOICE #1 AND FINAL-
CORNELL ESTATES IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret has previously awarded a
contract to Tomaro Contracting Co., Inc. for the Comell Estates Improvements Project;
and
'VlIEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer for the project, CME Associates, has
advised the Governing Body that work has been completed according to the original
contract (see attached); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That Invoice #1 and Final attached hereto and made a part hereof,
resulting in a payment of $6,022.86 is hereby approved.
2. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to
execute Invoice #1 and Final based upon the recommendation of the
Borough Engineer.
3. That the Borough Purchasing Department is hereby authorized to issue
any payment on the above described contract pursuant to Invoice # 1
and Final (see attached).
4. A copy oftms resolution and a copy of Invoice #1 and Final shall be
forwarded to CME Associates for distribution the Tomaro Contracting
Co.

original on November 25, 2008.

Dear Mayor Reiman and Council Members:
Transmitted herewith please find Progress Payment Estimate NO.6 for the above
referenced project in the amount of $514,674.03 as approved by this office for your
review, approval, and further handling. The estimate is for work completed through
November 14, 2008, and includes, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, concrete aprons,
asphalt base pavement and other incidental work associated with previously approved
Change order NO.1.
Certified Payroll Reports and Project Workforce Reports will be submitted by the
Contractor under separate cover.
We trust this is the information you require to process payment; however, if there are
any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
