A -RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE :PERMIT FOR KENNETH B. WOOD,
DBA GRA PHIKUS, TO OPEN A "SOUP AND SANDWI~ICH " DE LI ON
PROPERTY ,.,~~ESCRIBED AS LOT 1, PARCEL 20, TRACT 2907,
COMMONLY KNOWiV AS 2620 INDUSTRY WAY, LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS,. the City of Lynwood has received an application for a Conditional
Use Permit to allow a "SOUP AND SANDWHICH" DELI on property described as
Lot 1, Parcel 20, Tract 2907, specifically known as 2620 Industry Way,_ Lynwood; _
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood, after giving
notice thereof, as required by law, .has .held and conducted a Public Hearing con-
cerning said application and, based upon the evidence presented, .has adopted its
Resolution No. 694'.;
WHEREAS, the City Council, after providing notice thereof as required by
law, has .held and conducted a Public Hearing to consider said application and
.has .heard and considered all pertinent evidence presented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Lynwood hereby does find, determine, and order as follows:
Section L. That granting of said permit will not be detrimental to the public
., . welfare, injurious to the property or improvements in the vicinity and zone
in which it is located;
__ Section 2. That the use as proposed by the applicant is consistent with the
Municipal Code;
Section 3. That granting of said permit will not be contrary to or adversely
affect the General Plan of the City;
Section 4. That the proposed location of the conditional use and conditions
under w.hic.h it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the
public ,health or~safety in~:the vicinity.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lynwood
approves a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a "SOUP AND SAND-
WHICH" DELI on Lot 1, Parcel 20, Tract 2907, commonly known as 2620 Industry
Way, Lynwood, subject to the following stipulations:
1. That appropriate clearances be obtained from the County Health Depart-
ment;
2. That appropriate inspections be passed by the Building Department and the
Fire Department;
3. That a business license be obtained;
4. That any expansion of the sandwich shop operation be subject to review
by the Planning Commission;

5. That an appropriate sign be approved by the Planning Department;
6. That all conditions of all departments be adhered to.
