RESOLUTION N0. 80-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ELECTRIC
VEHICLES FROM 21st CENTURY ELECTRIC VEHICLE OF
WHITTIER, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council has agreed to participate in
the Electrical Vehicle Program; and
_ WHEREAS,. 21st Century Electric Vehicle ..of.Whittier,- ----
California sells vehicles approved by the Department of Energy for
the program; and
WHEREAS, the type of vehicles available through 21st Century
Electric Vehicle of Whittier, California are the most economic and
practical to operate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by a 4/5 vote of the City.
Council of the City of Lynwood that purchase of vehicles for the
Electric Vehicle program from 21st Century Electric Vehicle~-of
Whittier, California is the most economical and efficient way to
purchase vehicles,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council
direct City Manager to proceed .with pruchase of vehicles.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS -17-th - - day of JULY, 1980.
