A RESOLUTION PASSING:'UPON OBJECTIONS AND DIRECTING"'
THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO ABATE THE NUISANCE
OF DRY AND DRYING WEEDS THAT EXIST ON CERTAIN PARCELS.
, OF LAND IN TNE CITY OF LYNWOOD.

WHEREAS., the Cit_y,. Council of the City of Lynwood, Californi~a.,
clid on the 15th day of July,`198.0 adopt Resolution No. 80-72 relatincs to
the abateinent of dry and drying weeds., stubble, brush,, li.tter, or other
flammable material; on certain parcels of land in the City of Lynuiood; and`,
WHEREAS, due notice ivas' given to destroy such ~weeds pursuant ~to
the provisions of sectiori 39567.1 of the Government Code, and ~
WHEREAS, at the time and place f~ixed for the hearing of ,protests
and objections to s.aid matter, a~hearing was duly held, and,
WHEREAS, th'e City Council of the C.;:~y of Lynwood has-considered ~
all, the facts and is fuil.y informed in the matter, and they ha've•acauired
jurisdiction to .proceed and perform the ~aork or removal of said nui.sance:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I.T'RESOLVED that any objectidns presen'ted to '
said City Council are hereby over 'rule,d,, a'rid that the .Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Lynwood~be and' he is hereby instructed to abate
the nuisance described in said Resolution ~No. 80-72 by .having said nuisances
referred to removed, and he and his.assis'tants a.re hereby expressly au~th-
orized to enter upon private p-roperty~for that,pur~pose.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property owriers shall have the
ric~ht t~ have any such nuisance removed and abated at his own expense,
provided such work is done prior to t~he time the work is done~by-the
Superintendent of Streets. If the work is done by the property owner,
_ ~~ no charge .shall be made by the _City of Lynwood.
